I’m passionate about people and business. I believe in living your best life – surround yourself with great people, lean in to new experiences, say yes to adventure. While I was never the best student in school, I found my niche in business. Navigating organizational politics comes instinctively to me, and I love playing “the game.”
I spent the first 12 years of my career at Facebook and experienced the company’s growth from 220 employees to 35,000+. It was the ride of a lifetime – during which I had the opportunity to work alongside the smartest people I’ve ever met, create roles for myself that previously hadn’t existed within the company, and learn from countless re-orgs and regime changes. I discovered my passion for people management early on and have led several global teams across sales and product marketing. My greatest joy is connecting with high potential talent on a deeply personal level to expand their own perceived, and actual, potential. I started Taylor Tilley Coaching to make what’s always been my favorite part of the job, my whole job.
I moved to Miami with my husband last year after living in NYC for the last 6 years, and in London for the 5 years before that. Our favorite thing to do is travel together; we have an ever-evolving bucket list of destinations and are always in the midst of planning our next adventure. I’m a big ‘family person’ and consider my 3 siblings and parents my best friends – we have A LOT of fun together. I’m a long-time subscriber to the ‘work hard, play hard’ philosophy!
Started at Facebook NY as an intern and became full time shortly after. Hired as an Account Manager in the NY office, living the quintessential start up hustle. Creating systems as we went and teaching major clients how to navigate the News Feed so that they would buy their first ads with us.
Transferred to our London office to help scale global operations as we expanded across EMEA. Original assignment was intended to be 2 years which quickly turned into 5 based on how much I loved it.
Fell in love with London, traveling Europe, and learning to scale a business internationally. I managed large Account Management teams and eventually shifted into Product Marketing as their first international hire beyond HQ.
Returned to NYC (with my now husband who I met in the London office) and lead a number of product marketing teams, positioning our value between sales and product, helping the business translate market intel to build against, as well as identifying our go to market strategies.
The final position I held was leading an arm of our global PMM team responsible for building our outbound priorities across the full family of Apps and Services (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp, Marketplace, emerging products, etc).
Handed in my notice to explore the real world and to figure out who I was without my Facebook identity. More on that below.
Started Taylor Tilley Coaching and continue to travel extensively!

Complete dedication to your growth, and full confidentiality.
“What would you do if you weren’t afraid?”
I believe in naming your fears and running towards them.
I have also been trained throughout my life to trust my gut instinct even when it doesn’t feel logical and to face my fears head on. I found myself on a run one Friday night and had an aha moment so strong that it stopped me in my tracks – literally. I was overwhelmed with the realization that it was my time to leave Facebook. I had become too comfortable and too stressed, not a great combo. I was also terrified of leaving the only professional identity I had ever known, and a team that made me feel like I had a safe home. Which meant it was even more important that I do that. I had hired incredible leaders who were managing the teams I lead, and it was time for me to step aside and give them a bigger platform to shine on.
We get one life to live and a life left unexplored is not a life I wanted to look back on. I’m one year removed, I still love the company, the people, and the products. But I’m also happier, freer and immensely grateful to the opportunities that have presented themselves once I stopped living in fear.
I truly believed I would be a “lifer” at Facebook.
Global Programs Lead, Ads & Business Platform
Taylor had one of the best reputations as a manager and a leader at Facebook, so when I found out she was coaching I signed up immediately. Working with her has exceeded all of my expectations, and now I don't know what I did without her. I've had several helpful career coaches in the past, but Taylor is exceptional. She has an innate ability to see the best in people and guide them to make the right decisions for their careers and their company. Her advice is based on a multitude of experiences, after spending years in the trenches helping Facebook grow from a small startup to a mega corporation. Taylor is also deeply invested in your success. She takes the time to get you to know you, your challenges, your values, and to understand the environment you're operating in. Through her, I've refined my thought process, gained an infusion of confidence in my abilities, and spotted opportunities I didn't know existed. In just a few months of working together, she helped me navigate complex org structures, establish a new team, build my leadership skills as a first time manager, and find my super powers. Without her I wouldn't have been able to do half of these, and I certainly wouldn't have done them well.
Coaching with Taylor has been the best investment I've made in years, and I'm only just starting to see the impact.
Corporate Account Executive
Working with Taylor has absolutely transformed my career. Our relationship started when I needed help solving a problem at work — I needed to articulate a path to success, happiness, and fulfillment in a job where I felt isolated and lost. Taylor and I started working together, and she helped me define what I was feeling and describe it in a productive, solution-oriented conversation with my boss. In navigating this uncertainty, I had questions about if I was on the right career path. Taylor connected me with resources to explore other options and outline my career strengths and interests. When my boss presented obstacles to my promotion, Taylor strategized with me about questions to ask to position my promotion and pay raise with fool proof execution. Sure enough, she helped me land a raise and access to better accounts in my sales role. Yet throughout the whole process, Taylor had also opened my eyes to what I needed in leadership, what I value in a company, and what I want for myself in 5 and 10 years.
Before working with a Taylor, I hadn’t considered what I wanted in my career long term. I am now at a new company that has the most challenging and rewarding sales program I’ve seen to date, and I’m working in a position I wouldn’t have dreamed I could get before I started working with her. Her coaching and perspective is invaluable. As a result of her coaching, I have confidence in my capabilities and feel empowered to push the limits of my ambition.

Taylor gave me the tools to shape and truly articulate my career narrative. With the clarity and confidence I gained in our sessions, I made an exciting job transition.
After spending nearly five years at my first company, I was looking for my next step. Without much interviewing experience or a clear path forward, I needed some support. It was perfect timing when a mutual connection asked me if I was interested in a working with a coach, something I hadn't done before.
From day one, Taylor's process was centered around me. This meant really taking the time to understand my goals, strengths and growth opportunities. Taylor is an incredible listener, which meant that all her guidance felt relevant and genuine. She helped me gain new perspective on my candidacy based on her management experience and understanding of my interests. She's also a strategic communicator and has a background in product, so her tactical advice was foolproof.
Taylor is perceptive, enthusiastic, and reliable so our sessions felt effortless. Each time, I came out on the other side more energized and empowered. This came through in my work and interviews, which made all the difference.
"I started working with Taylor at a particularly challenging point in my career, when I didn't feel like I had the right support from my manager or safe space with my peers. This tanked my confidence and productivity. Working with Taylor has been validating, uplifting and empowering. It's been invaluable to have confidential space to talk to get real-talk practical advice as well as emotional support. I got my mojo back."
Owner, Sound Designer/Mixer
As a solo small-business owner, I'm pulled in a hundred different directions all the time, which would make anybody feel crazy. Taylor's coaching has helped me organize all my big ideas and daily to-dos into sane plans, and made pushing forward seem realistic. She's like a therapist, but for the work part of my life. And, after working with her for a few months, I think of her as a part of my team—she's become essential to my strategy for the future.
PMM Growth Lead Gaming,
Taylor Tilley’s coaching accelerated my career trajectory. I broke through to middle management and now have senior leaders reaching out for a future executive role, and I could not have done it as quickly without the program. We set a vision for what we wanted to achieve together, and we have smashed all of our goals. We feel like a team, and that’s exactly the type of coaching that works for my mission-driven style.
The deep empathy that this coaching brings is what leads to top performance enhancement drives. It combines emotional safety and coaching to the next level without coddling. The work and steps to improvement are always on the individual to really grow for themselves, not use the program as a crutch. You will emerge better, more empathetic and be a stronger leader due to the development of your individual prowess and ability to work with the coaching program.
I’ve loved every conversation and interaction with Taylor Tilley’s program, and recommend it to anyone who is ready to take bolds steps in career and personal growth.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Taylor at what I now recognize as one of the most pivotal moments in my professional life. Through Taylor's intuitive, personable and strategic approach she has not only opened my eyes to the various paths that lay before me in my career, but has truly strapped me with the tools needed to make great strides on those paths. Taylor has an insightful way of turning what you deem obstacles, into tools that empower you to feel like you are owning, and in control over any situation that lays ahead of you in an honest and meaningful way. She has taught me to #walktowardsfire, and not only not get burned, but come out the other side, feeling stronger, and smarter. If you are looking for someone to confide in, learn from, and empower you, Taylor is it. THANK YOU TAYLOR!
Founder + Executive Director,
Health in the Hood
As a non-profit Executive Director, my time is spent immersed in programming, fundraising and putting out daily fires, leaving little time and capacity for strategic planning. While our organization was growing, it was in a wild and untamed manner.
It wasn’t until I had the good fortune to meet and work with Taylor as an organizational strategy coach that we have been able to tame and strategize our growth opportunities, plan and execute expansion efforts and develop infrastructure to support our model.
Taylor has a unique ability to lift valuable information in a completely effortless way. While having an easy, yet dynamic conversation, without missing a detail, she can carry on a critical dialogue, ask poignant and provoking questions all while meticulously organizing every detail of the exchange.
Elevating these themes and creating infrastructure has helped inform our strategic growth plan, create metrics, secure larger donations and resources for the organization, and increase credibility. I didn’t know we needed a strategic planning coach, and now that we have Taylor on our team, I don’t know what we did before her!
VP, Global Sales Operations,
Taylor is an incredibly talented and natural executive coach. From our very first session together, she knew the exact questions to ask that challenged me to identify what passions drive me in my career and how to leverage them outside it as well. She expertly helped me position what I often saw as inconveniently timed issues or barriers as opportunities or ways to rethink my standard responses to challenges. I would highly recommend Taylor as an executive coach for anyone looking to define the next stage of their career or personal growth. She's an incredible individual to work with, her guidance is always spot-on, and her approachable attitude makes her easy to connect with.
Taylor has provided me the gift of focus and purpose. I met with Taylor because I felt insecure, lost, and uncertain about the direction of my career. She quickly helped me organize my thoughts into a productive framework & toolkit on how to achieve a fulfilling career and life. She’s fun, approachable, and hyper intelligent. I feel like I’m working with my smartest, best friend, who is always available to offer advice when I need it.
